I'd like to hear your thoughts. Since it doesn't take place on Namek, I believe it to be part of the Cell Arc. |

Once Freeza was beaten and Namek exploded, it became the Cell arc. |

It's the Trunks Arc. I know that sounds like a joke but it's not. I don't consider it either of those two. It's small but standalone. |

A Nappa Saga? That sounds weird to me. IMO for me it's Saiyan Arc: Saiyan/Vegeta Saga That doesn't matter though. OT: It's part of the Cell/Androids Arc. |

Basically, every Arc is the main focus of the particular series of events where as a Saga is the focus for just that particular part of the Arc. In this case, Nappa was the main focus of that particular point of time hence the Saga being named after him. |

Ok then. Which saga do you have the training in? The Raditz Saga or the Nappa Saga? |

Not canon. Though probably in the Cell/Androids Arc as well. Edited by Rogafufuken, Jul 29 2014, 04:56 PM.

I consider it to be part of the Freeza arc. We don't jump into the Artificial Human arc until after that 3 year gap IMO. |

It most definitely is apart of the Androids Saga... Saiyan Saga, Freeza Saga, Androids Saga, Cell Saga, Buu Saga. The Androids had far too many panels dedicated to them or the arrival of them to be completely dwarfed by Cell. The Androids Saga is quite a large one with all of these combined. Trunks Saga Androids 19 and 20 Saga Androids 16,17,18 Saga Future Saga Cell ends up superseding them, but does so in a similar fashion to how Freeza superseded the Saiyan Saga. We don't somehow discount the Saiyan Saga, nor should be the Androids Saga. |

Well, for me it's clearly the Android/Cell arc. That's the reason Trunks is going back in time for, warn Goku&Co about the Androids. Freeza happens to be in it so he can be killed by the new character, that's all. Plus, Freeza comes to earth as a Cyborg, first glimpse of what's coming next.
Can't agree with that, they're directly connected. Furthermore, Cell is artificially-created aswell. Even if he eventually becomes the main enemy, he belongs to the "Android family". Edited by The Joy, Jul 30 2014, 12:22 AM.

This is how the series was divided in the VHS fansub days, and I tend to go with it. I see it divided all sorts of ways now, but that makes sense to me. Trunks arrival fits perfectly in an Androids Saga IMHO. |

Exactly, trying to throw the Androids Saga in with Cell is like trying to throw the Saiyan Saga with Freeza. Its silly. |

I use Android saga and Cell saga as interchangeable terms. Cell is an android after all. As for Trunks, I'd say it's the very beginning of the Android saga since he sets up the whole thing. If you want to get very picky you could say the death of Freeza marked the end of the Freeza saga and the explanation of the androids started the Android saga. |
